Circular Reasoning

Wow.

Today, the O-man took a break in his busy schedule of dismantling the Constitution and fundamentally changing the United States, and signed an actual bill.

I know it's hard to believe, but there actually was a bill passed by both houses of Congress, and it didn't take billions in bribes and special considerations.

Obama signed the act "which establishes a corporation for travel promotion to encourage international travel to the United States," the White House said in a statement.

The effort is to be funded through a matching program featuring up to 100 million dollars in private sector contributions and a 10-dollar fee on foreign travelers who do not pay for a visa, with no money from US taxpayers.

That's right, the O-man now thinks it's essential for the Federal Government to market our country as a tourist destination.

To attract visitors from foreign countries to come here and visit tourist attractions.

You know, places like Orlando and Las Vegas.

The very places the O-man discouraged Americans and American companies from visiting on at least two separate occasions because they weren't prudent uses of money in these times.

In signing the bill, the O-man, the Princess, and Whiney Harry each noted the potential for jobs creation by increeasing foreign tourism.

They seem to think that it's important to put people back to work in the hospitality industry, especially in places like Orlando and Las Vegas.

You know, those people who lost their jobs because of the O-man's comments.

But that was then, and this is now, and of course the media doesn't want to spend any time or effort investigating or even pointing out this reversal.

But in looking at it carefully, it appears that this is the chronology:

The O-man makes statements discouraging Americans from traveling to either Orlando or Las Vegas.

People take his advice, and cancel trips and conventions, putting thousands of workers in the hospitality industry out of work.

And now, he gets a law passed to put these people back to work by charging tourists from other countries and various private organizations additional fees and contributions.

So, he gets somebody else to pay for his mistakes.

Get ready, America.

There's going to be a lot more of this.

And our country will be paying for his mistakes for generations to come.
