I'm sick and tired of Congressmen and women going to Washington and doing whatever they damned well please, over the objections of their constituents.
I'm sick and tired of these people being too stupid, too egotistical, too beholden, and / or too self centered to exercise even the most basic fiscal responsibility, financial oversight, or ethics.
I'm sick and tired of these same people thinking they are entitled to my money and my compliance when they choose to use it for things other than what is constitutionally allowed.
I'm sick and tired of these same people giving themselves raises when the people who have to pay their salaries are losing their jobs.
I'm sick and tired of our politicians imposing higher taxes and interest and penalties on the taxpayers and then not having to pay them themselves.
I'm sick and tired of these same people emasculating, disrespecting, and discarding our military and our veterans.
I'm sick and tired of seeing illegal immigrants being treated better than our own citizens.
I'm sick and tired of the direction the country is headed.
And, I'm sick and tired of the blame game, with each party blaming the other for the problems and doing nothing to fix them.
And, as the dude in the movie said, "I'm not gonna take it anymore!".
As of now I'm on a crusade to throw all the bums out... regardless of party, tenure, or any other "exception".
It's time the American people stood up and said "Enough!"
It's time the American people got some backbone and told these politicians that they work for us, not the other way around.
So, I'm personally doing everything I can to encourage people to vote for NO INCUMBENTS.
Throw them all out. We can do big things in the 2010 elections, and send a harsh message to Obama and both parties.
Whoever gets newly elected can't possibly be any worse than the detritus we have there now.
This isn't about either parties' ideology. It's about putting the constitution back into the governing process. It's about real representation, rather than token apathetic acknowledgement.
And it's about reminding all politicians that raising their own salaries when their constituents are losing their jobs is not only bad form, it's also bad for keeping their jobs.
It's about reminding all politicians that we are not their subjects... that they don't deserve perks and healthcare and retirement packages better than their constituents can get.
It's about insuring that our elected officials have to obey the same laws we do.
It's about sending a message that they work for us and are accountable to us.
VOTE THEM ALL OUT IN 2010.
If you agree, tell somebody.
